Rosary For Matt

I made this as a gift for my Matt, ~uruwashiiuso, in a bout of inspiration when I saw those stripey beads.

When I saw those beads, I had a lovely train of thought that Mello would want to bring Matt into his life even more, if he had the chance, by at least teaching him about his religion. Thus, a rosary, with very Matt-esque stripes. Notice also, that when compared to my Mello rosary, the basic beads are the same, except that the spacers are white instead of silver (to match the stripes), and the medallion in the middle (Does that have a name?) is a modern-looking black ring instead of the ornate scrolled piece. So, in a way, it matches the Mello one, but is an individual piece, to show our connection.

The key, though, is because neither Matt (in my opinion) or Krys (In real life) are religious, and would, thus not wear a cross. I was originally going to look for a very simple black or white glass or enamel cross to match the rest of the modern styling, but decided against it when I saw the key, since one of Matt's character trademarks is his gaming addiction, and MY Matt's start to gaming was with Kingdom Hearts, haha.

You may notice the tiny extra beads around the stripey ones. Those are because the holes on the striped beads are too big, and would eat the tiny spacer beads if I didn't put something around them.
